In Australia, 103,000 couples a year will report an early pregnancy loss. That’s 283 women each day.
1 in 6 couples suffer from infertility, often enduring multiple treatment cycles with no assurance they will ever achieve a pregnancy.
Chances are high that someone in your workplace is being impacted by miscarriage and/or infertility and needs your support.
We are pleased to announce our new initiative, Fertility in the Workplace. Our information seminars have been designed to assist organisations big and small in better supporting members of their staff who might be going through fertility struggles or pregnancy loss.
Miscarriage and infertility can indue an intense period of emotional distress and if left unsupported, can lead to heightened anxiety symptoms and/or depression.
We want to ensure that organisations and workplaces have the information and tools needed to empathetically and successfully support your employees so that couples not only feel more supported, but that the risk of ongoing emotional and psychological distress is reduced.
Ultimately, an employer who prioritises the health and wellness of its staff, will go a long way to retaining a healthy and engaged workplace.
