The Pink Elephants Support Network’s Peer Support Programme (PSP) has been created so that women who are currently experiencing miscarriage and pregnancy loss, can be connected with another woman who has been there before…who ‘gets it’.
“Connection is why we are here. We’re hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives and without it there is suffering.” Brene Brown
If you are interested in becoming a Peer Support Ambassador and taking part in our unique training programme so that you can be a support to women who need it, simply complete the online form below or download the fillable PDF and return via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be in touch.
To be eligible to become a Pink Elephants’ Ambassador, we ask that applicants be at least 12 months + since their last loss, and preferably have finished their journey. Some questions may seem personal but please be assured all information received will be treated with the highest confidentiality.
At this stage, we are looking for Ambassadors in Sydney (or anyone who would be willing to travel to Sydney for face-face training). Training takes place over 1.5 days, while the actual role will involve anything from 1 to 3 hours a week – as much or as little as you are able to give. The date for our next training weekend will be advised soon.
Thank You so much for wanting to be part of our Pink Elephants Peer Support Program. As we’re sure you know, having the support from someone who has been down the same road as us can make all the difference in our journeys. xo
